Mount Guyot is located in Sequoia National Park and is bounded on North by Guyot Flat, on the east by Guyot Pass, on the south by Rock Creek, and on the west by Kern Canyon. The lower terrain of Guyot from the Pass is moderately timbered to about 11,000 feet.

Mount Guyot Overview. The summit of Mount Guyot resides directly on the Rocky Mountain Continental Divide only ¾ mile west of the historic Georgia Pass. Named after Arnold (Henri) Guyot (1807-1874) a famous geologist from Switzerland, Mount Guyot (pronounced gui-oat) is the centerpiece of the Front Range’s southwest region.

Mount Guyot is a mountain in the Great Smoky Mountains, located in the southeastern United States. At 6,621 feet (2,018 m) in elevation, Guyot is the fourth-highest summit in the Eastern U.S., [3] and the second-highest in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. [4]
