1 sie 2022 · Another option is to use the barrel from the 416 22 pistol as it’s the same as the MP5 22 just without the tri lug. The outer support is threaded for a flash suppressor however you will need an adapter to get down to the 1/2x28 required for most 22 suppressors.
24 lut 2012 · Here is how I did it the right way on an original GSG-5. The pencil thin barrel is replaced with a thicker barrel and the end of the barrel is threaded. I use a 3-lug adapter Loc-Tite'd in place and a Checkmate QD suppressor.
The GSG-5 is essentially an MP5 implemented in .22LR. The GSG-5 ships with a fixed stock fake suppressor to hide the 16-inch barrel. Import approval was easier because it's rimfire.
Not on the Umarex built one, it's threaded and uses an o ring at the base of the receiver housing to apply friction. It may be like that on the GSG or Walthers.
