30 cze 2007 · I've been in contact with Warn Tech Support, and the gear assemblies call for a Moly Lube 1 grease, which I'm assuming is an NLGI 1 class grease. The actual brand/trade name that Warn recommends is Aeroshell 17 (ASG17), which is a Shell product.
Warn gear trains are enclosed in a housing and are lubricated with grease. CLUTCH LEVER: The clutch lever allows the operator to manually disengage and engage the winch drum from the geartrain.
7 cze 2017 · In fact, there are some big differences between greases, some lasting 5-10 times longer than others. The winch greases were all very good, resisting oxidation and wash off well. But Green Grease (Omni Lubes) was just one of several less expensive product that distinguished themselves. Gears are hardly unique to winches. Subscribe.
19 kwi 2021 · Mineral spirits to clean and Lewmar winch grease to lubricate. A little winch grease goes a long way but regular maintenance is the key.

6 sty 2016 · "We strongly recommend always using XXXXX winch grease, when lubricating your winch. XXXX winch grease is a high quality silicone/Teflon® grease product. Most other types of grease, including “marine grease” are not suitable for lubrication of winches.
