Grateful Greyhounds is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to educating the public on ex-racing greyhounds, all sighthounds including Spanish galgos and podencos, and to promote the adoption of these dogs as pets. Grateful Greyhounds, Inc., is a non-profit 501 (3) c volunteer-run organization helping to rescue and rehabilitate ex-racing greyhounds and place them into loving homes. GG also works on raising awareness on the plight of the racing greyhound, and participates in various community outreach programs.

Because not every Available Greyhound can be at Every adoption event, if you are interested is meeting a specific dog or dogs, please call Lisa (516 735-5070) to confirm that dogs attendance at the event you plan on attending.
We might be able to arrange for you to meet some greyhounds nearby - just give us a call. There is a non-refundable adoption donation of $400.00 (for Spanish dogs $600.00 but might be more depending on flight fees).
