In Lenovo vantage app select hybrid mode and check in device manager if your CPU integrated graphic card shows up there. It worked for me at least to ease the graphic card.
I tried different shapes of fan air intake hole (new lenovo laptops use asymmetrical shape) and the same high frequency noise is still there. Replacing the propeller may help (they are replaceable). Reply reply

I tried blowing air into the fan vent but that didn't work. I then opened up the laptop. I immediately noticed that when the laptop was off, if I manually turned the problem fan with my finger it would make the loud sound (the other fan was silent when doing this).
