I've always struggled with Mana Egg distribution early on - even though there's enough for everyone, the order matters. Justin benefits from Fire-Earth and Feena from Fire-Wind, for their best moves. Question is, what to do with Sue.
The ONLY characters that you can spend mana eggs on are Justin, Sue, Feena and Rapp. There are 18 mana eggs available in the game. Feena and Rapp require only 3 each for all elements. Adding in Sue and Justin, that is a total of 14 usable mana eggs. Iirc, there are 11 eggs on Disc 1, all before Sue leaves.

To start, the mana eggs & skill books are completely different to G1. You can swap them around whenever you like so the best thing to do is have a play around and see what fits for you.
