10 cze 2010 · Now GM Performance Parts has created what it calls the 21st century 454: A Gen-IV-based engine displacing 454 cubic inches but using a modern aluminum block and cylinder heads. The foundation of the LSX 454 is a GMPP LSX Bowtie block, which, like all LS-type GM V-8s, uses six-bolt mains; it’s also filled with an all-forged rotating assembly.
