5 mar 2022 · I haven't found a way to keep IMAP between Outlook and Gmail, but if I fall back to webmail access to Gmail, I can save any calendar invites as an *.ics file on the local computer, then open it with Outlook to add it to my local calendar.

Before you can set up G Suite Gmail in Outlook, first sign in to the Google Admin console and confirm a few settings.
