27 sty 2018 · A loud ticking or rattle sound may be heard coming from the engine compartment on some 2020-2021 Enclave and Traverse models equipped with the 3.6L V6 engine (RPO LFY). The sound may be caused by pressure pulsations in the purge solenoid tube that occur when the purge solenoid is commanded on.
29 sie 2022 · The valve springs on the valves that are open when the engine is stopped compress the hydraulic lifters. When engine is started those valves will clatter momentarily until the oil pressure fills those lifters. This is normal; nothing will fix this. All engines with hydraulic lifters (virtually all) do this whether you hear them or not.
