22 wrz 2021 · We’ve tested the G23 Gen3 and Gen4 variants and thought the Gen4 variant better allowed the user to control the recoil of 40 S&W. With the Gen5 variant, we think Glock has done an even better job mitigating recoil.
25 cze 2024 · In addition to the Gen5 improvements, the thicker and heavier slide in the Gen5 G23 make it a much more viable and comfortable to shoot .40. Similar applies to a Gen 3 and Gen4 G22.
11 lip 2021 · Glock's position was that the slide peening was "normal" (which by strictest interpretation of the word it was, since all Glock .40s did it), but it wasn't exactly ideal. For .40s, my answer is Gen4 or Gen5 (if you don't mind the added bulk of the wider slide).
