Just picked up a Glock 29 as my EDC, What’s the community’s honest opinion on these? Welcome to a thousand opinions. “if you seeing me in the woods fighting a bear HELP the bear” I love my 29. Was my EDC for years. Get the Pearce +2 extension for it. Bigger and harder to conceal then they appear. Not a “subcompact” as glock claims.
I own a lot of cool pistols, including a CZ Tactical Sports Orange that I recently sold and a CZ Shadow 2 Optics Ready that I picked up the same time as my new Glock G34 Gen 5 MOS. I got my first chance to shoot the G34 & Shadow 2 OR today - both of which are 100% unmodified out of the box (yes the G34 has the original trigger and polymer sights).
One of my favorites. Soft shooter, highly accurate and never a hiccup. Nice to slap in the (G21) 13 round magazine with an “X-Grip” sleeve for added capacity and grip length. As well, the 9 round flush magazine allows it to very easily conceal. I can’t think of any negatives, maybe just the current ammo price. I have a 21.

Would you guys recommend starting fresh with a shadow 2 and very limited mods if any or spend a bunch of the money on customizing a g34? If you recommend the G34 route what parts do you suggest? Share
