6 gru 2022 · My 7.5 35,980 miles. I’ve not used start stop much and tried to get the OEM battery to last as long as possible. Car started to throw low voltage codes , rough idle and misfiring. Swapped the battery in the parking lot , used OBD11 to code it. So far so good. 239.00$ have it on a battery tender now , to reach full charge. Model H6-AGM 70 ah.
Never had an issue with my MK6 and 7 GTIs. Only my backup fob has the issue. Replace batteries in it every couple of months. The primary one I use have never changed the battery. Buy an 8 pack of batteries and just replace them when they die, not a big deal.
28 wrz 2021 · Water pump and thermostat housing were replaced due to leaks (common problem, revised parts were installed), original battery failed (another common issue, revised part was installed) and cracked an Englishtown wheel.
15 sie 2022 · I bought a mk7 2016 R just over a year ago with 70K miles on it, it's now nearly 80K and I've had zero issues apart from replacing the battery @ £200. Love this car. Reply reply
