16 gru 2010 · If you are willing to go with the lighter striker and spring 13 lbs is as low as I would go with 115 gr bullets. You would benefit quite a bit by moving to 147 gr bullets. The reduction in blast and recoil is worth the extra 7 or 8 dollars per 1000.
5 mar 2019 · The first guy told me that the 9mm (17 and 34) has the same recoil spring weight of 17lbs as the .357, .40, and .45GAP in Gen 4. When I told him they have different recoil spring assemblies in Gen 4, he said that doesn't matter, they're all the same 17 pounds, just with different parts numbers.
20 kwi 2021 · The stock spring weight is around 17#. I would look into getting a competition recoil spring kit that comes with an assortment of different poundage springs. 15# would probably be sufficient. Sprinco makes a decent kit that comes with three different spring weights, is uncaptured, and for any Gen 1-4 and they also make a Gen 5.
27 maj 2012 · With bullet weights ranging from 90 gr to 147 gr, my G26.3 and converted G27.3 cycle reliably with stock 16 lb recoil springs down to an IPSC PF of about 112. The cartridge provides a certain amount of force to compress the recoil spring assembly and move the slide.
