  1. 26 lip 2021 · The Glock 30S, SF has a slide that is taken from the Glock 36, and it is thinner and trimmer. The nickname used by Jim Rawles for the Glock 30S is the “Glock 30-Skinny”, and it is his preferred carry gun–often with a 13-round Model 21 magazine and a “filler” ring.

  2. 12 lip 2017 · A Gen4 Glock 30 without its back strap is the same size grip as a 30SF. If that helps. I have a 29SF but I prefer the grip texture of the Gen4. I'm thinking of picking up a FDE Vickers G19 it's 4th Gen and has RTF2 texture, what's not to love?

  3. 19 lut 2018 · The only real difference is the slide, 30SF has the regular slide, the 30S has the 36 slide. So, you can have slim or slimmer. The best defense is a good offense, and I'm really offensive.

  4. Just wondering what you guys think some of the advantages and disadvantages are in comparison! I prefer my .45 ACP guns chambered in 10mm. Carried a Glock 36 for years... held a 30s and traded in on the spot. +4 rounds, same profile as the 36 and the same slide, fits my hands better, and can use Glock 21 mags so that’s my spare carry mag.

  5. If you are more interested in concealed carry guns with heavier calibers, Glock has two most suitable weapons for you: the Glock 36 and the Glock 30 Gen 4. Both guns have .45 auto caliber to ensure higher accuracy and better reliability.

  6. 30 maj 2023 · A better alternative for self-defense carry would be the Glock 30S which combines the slimmer frame and capacity of the 30SF with the thinner frame of the G36 (a pistol that was good but lacked sufficient capacity).

  7. 24 paź 2011 · I currently own a Glock 30SF. I did a comparison of the technical data from the Glock site. The only real difference between the two is that the G36 is 4 ounces lighter (unloaded, 6 ounces loaded), 0.1 inches thinner and carries less ammunition (which accounts for the weight difference).
