23 paź 2016 · The main difference is grip size and feel. Go to a store like Cabelas or Bass Pro and hold both versions. I have the Gen 4 with no blackstrap. A previous poster's comment about using Talon grips is right on. The Gen 3 will take Talons better. Good luck. It's a great little handgun.
3 wrz 2018 · The big difference is, the Gen 4 has different texture, adjustable back strap and a larger mag release. For me that wasn't a big deal as I have Large hands. For me the best feature is the larger mag release.
1 lip 2015 · Ok, I know this question has been talked about before, but, I want a 26, I can get a gen3 for $499.00, a gen4 for $539.00 or a gen4 FDE for $549.00. I'll be using it for Cc, any thoughts on which way to go?
23 lis 2012 · As you probably know, the Gen 4 26 features interchangeable backstraps. Fit and finish is typical Glock — there’s not a whole lot to say here. Overall length is a hair over 6.6″ and it only weights 26 oz. loaded. The gun is nice and tight.
6 lis 2017 · Larger mag release, smaller grip with possibility of using different backstraps. On the gen 4 there is a bump on the trigger bar which is supposed to align it better with the striker block safety. Some say this makes the trigger pull grittier and heavier.
