9 gru 2008 · A heavier spring should reduce the sharpness of the recoil (as long as the gun will cycle OK with the ammo you use)... that's why Glock uses a double recoil spring on the sub-compacts. The stiffer spring comes into play just before the slides hits the frame.
20 maj 2007 · What would be the best weight spring to use with a G17? I shoot only 147gr and it does seem to have more recoil than 115gr, so I'm thinking that the stock 17lb. spring is weaker than necessary if I'm shooting only 147 gr. bullets.

1 mar 2018 · In the case of a G17 Gen 3 the stock recoil spring is #17 pounds . For factory target loads (Blazer , American Eagle , etc.) what would be the ideal spring weight to drop down to for better ability to cycle and get back on target in gun games such as IDPA ?
8 wrz 2015 · For Glock 17 - use the original recoil spring. For Glock 34 - use the RYG stainless steel Tungsten guide rod. For Glock 35 - use the 13 lbs spring in a stainless wolf guide rod. It ran flawlessly.
