9 gru 2008 · The Glock 23 shares the same factory recoil spring as the glock19 which is a 9mm gun. Basically, Glock made the Glock 23 from a 9mm gun's frame, just the slide and barrel are different. I don't feel any different in recoil with either spring.

21 kwi 2010 · I want to reduce the felt recoil on my Glock 23 just a tad. I primarily shoot factory 180 grain FMJ loads. I was reading an article that said for the G23 I would need to look at a spring weight between 13lb and 15lb but then I read somewhere else that heavier is better.

6 sty 2014 · Go up to the next weight, which is 20lb I think. That will help slow the slide down during cycling and reduce recoil..a little bit, not significantly. Or leave the spring alone for the best reliability, if it is a gun that is used for SD in any way I'd leave it be.
