Carry what you like, and more importantly perform better with, but 99.9% of people are going to be better prepared to stop a lethal threat with a 9mm Glock than a 1911. 9mm is lower-recoiling, making accurate, rapid follow-up shots easier
3 maj 2019 · When compared to the 1911, we zero in on the Glock 21, equal in its .45-caliber chambering, but superior in the number one can carry. With a polymer frame, interchangeable backstraps, and greater capacity, the striker-fired Glock 21 is equal to the challenge.
14 wrz 2022 · Each has it's own pros and cons. Glock 21 has 13 rounds, it tames the recoil very well, .45 is a softer shooter in G21, than it is in 1911, it is more reliable and requires less maintenance. 1911 on the other hand (it depends which brand-model but the general rule is) are more accurate than Glocks and have way better triggers.
8 lis 2019 · I carried one for 21 years, but everyone needs at least one 1911. I used to own a Ruger 1911 (full size stainless like in the pic) up until recently. The G21 shoots smoother in my opinion, and with a Gen 4 or SF model, its not as huge as the Gen 3 I used to carry.
