12 cze 2010 · Here's some more velocity data, from a G17 vs. G17C test that I ran last year. Factory "target" ammunition, caliber 9mm Luger, fired through a Glock 17 and 17C. Temp: 68-70 degrees F, velocities measured 10 feet from the muzzle. Each test string was 10 shots in about 90 seconds.
25 paź 2017 · There are several pros and cons to consider when deciding between the 17 and 17c Glock models. According to Pro Guns.com, the compensated barrel allows for better second shot recovery because gases are released through the barrel's opening, which lowers recoil.
4 mar 2015 · Originally, was leaning towards a CZ P09 but I think I'm going to go with Glock--particularly the Glock 17. Anyone out there have the 17C? Any comparison comments on how a 17C shoots vs a 17 are appreciated.

The Glock 17 is a striker fired, polymer framed pistol that holds 17 rounds of 9mm and I think you'd go broke shooting +P through it before you'd hurt the gun. The Glock is not old school by any stretch. If you remove the magazine you can compress the grip with your hand.
