3 lip 2021 · My Global Entry card came with an RFID sleeve. I found it amusing considering the frequent eye-rolling concerning anti-RFID items here and in other forums. This was a renewal. I filled out the form and submitted it about a week ago. Received approval the next day, no new interview needed.

4 paź 2018 · The Global Entry card contains an RFID chip, probably containing your personal information, like your name, social security number, address, and other things you wouldn’t want some random person to know. RFIDs can be read remotely with the right equipment, but only from a few feet away.
17 mar 2016 · The RFID sleeves only help prevent theft of the info (if they do at all) if your card has RFID capabilities. That means the one you wave in front of the terminal and the terminal picks up the info. Think Apple Pay from the iPhone - that works by RFID.

24 cze 2019 · There is NO need to carry your Global Entry card at the airport to use Global Entry. Only passports or lawful permanent resident cards are accepted at Global Entry kiosks when flying into the US from abroad.
