12 kwi 2014 · This boat had luxury, style like no other boat at the time, and the power of a Lincoln 460 cubic inch engine mated to a Berkely jet. The boat topped out at 68 mph, had a killer hole shot, and handled like a new yammie as long as there was power applied.
19 sty 2011 · I am starting to rebuild my boat. I will need to replace the stringers, transom and floor. So I was thinking of using Sea cast for the transom, and possibly for the stringers also but I will decide that when I get the floor out. As you can see in one of the pics the center stinger is totally shot.
12 sie 2012 · Lake Puddingstone: Test Run - Glastron Carlson CVX-20 Sprint. I finally got the boat back together, took it out today for a test run and see how the motor runs after setting for so long....
7 mar 2024 · This brings back fond memories for me. My first boat was a (1978??) 18' version with a 2-barrel Ford 302 and a Volvo 280 drive. Loved that boat. Zero eng/drive issues for many years. Awesome river boat but not much in the rough big lake environment where It would beat the crap out of you.
15 paź 2012 · It's a 5.3 aluminum head mill with an LS3 cam, LS7 lifters, and Corvette bee hive valve springs. With a C impeller it spins 5,000 RPM all afternoon pushing the boat to a best of 58.6 on GPS, 2 mph faster then it went with the stock 460 it came with. There is an OBD-II port under the key that you can plug in a laptop to tune it.
20 sty 2018 · I ran across a 1977 CVX 20 with a Berkeley jetpack. The exterior is fair, IMO due to peeling gell coat. I am unsure of the size of the motor. The hull looks OK. The downside is that it has not been run in L-O-N-G time, circa 2002. I am trying to get more information. Any thoughts on price and function of this orange classic.
30 lip 2011 · I found this boat over in Utah that is a Glastron CVX 20 its got a 200hp Evinrude on it and its a low profile performance boat. I am sure it would of done at least 60 in full trim out when new. I can find a few pics some on video of one with a 454 jet on U-tube but the outboards seem to be really rare.
