12 kwi 2014 · This boat had luxury, style like no other boat at the time, and the power of a Lincoln 460 cubic inch engine mated to a Berkely jet. The boat topped out at 68 mph, had a killer hole shot, and handled like a new yammie as long as there was power applied.

7 mar 2024 · Same guy was driving one of the racing versions at 100+ when something broke and put the boat into a violent left turn. Sent him thru the side of the boat and he broke a lot of stuff. He was one tough ol bird. Felt privileged to meet him and even more so to have him take care of my baby.
19 sty 2011 · I am starting to rebuild my boat. I will need to replace the stringers, transom and floor. So I was thinking of using Sea cast for the transom, and possibly for the stringers also but I will decide that when I get the floor out. As you can see in one of the pics the center stinger is totally shot.
28 lut 2004 · These boats looked like slugs compared to the later Carlsons but ran OK for their time. Art Carlson always liked racing and the Glastron Carlson V bottoms evolved into competitive Mod-VP rigs. Alan Miller worked with Carlson to set these boats up and field an Evinrude powered team in the late 70's. I know Alan won some local races at the time.
15 paź 2012 · It's a 5.3 aluminum head mill with an LS3 cam, LS7 lifters, and Corvette bee hive valve springs. With a C impeller it spins 5,000 RPM all afternoon pushing the boat to a best of 58.6 on GPS, 2 mph faster then it went with the stock 460 it came with. There is an OBD-II port under the key that you can plug in a laptop to tune it.
1 sie 2011 · We have two Glastron Carlsons and they are great boats. One is a Ski Machine and the other is a CV23. The Ski Machine is basically a CVX20 with an O/B and a full length molded skeg. They added a ski locker, rear facing bench seat, glove box, and ski pylon as well.
