The Okuda’s compact neck joins the body at the 16th fret, not the 19th fret of the ES-335 design, and makes it feel almost bigger in the hand than it is.
27 maj 2015 · The Gibson ES-330 vos 1959 reissue is just a good guitar with great cosmetics. If you fall in love with the looks, you'll spend a lot of money. But you can get the same sound and an even better feel out of a Epiphone equivalent (Casino or Sorrento).
2 paź 2024 · With its twin dog-ear P-90 pickups, the resonant, fully hollow build and the tailpiece, it is a real tone machine, warm yet articulate, and versatile too. The ES-330 makes a great blues guitar, works a treat on country and pop, and as the Beatles proved it was ideal for rock. In Grant Green’s hands it was an excellent jazz guitar.
11 lis 2014 · Arguably not as versatile as an ES-335 due to its hollow body, but its lightweight feel and hugely evocative sound are exceptional. Excellent character. Great acoustic and plugged-in tones. Ideal for jazz, blues and rock 'n' roll players. Susceptible to feedback. Higher position playability compromised.
22 sie 2005 · Go for an early one - a rare single pu ES-330T or a more common two pu ES -330 TD. Avoid the 19th fret positioned ones - they are too pricey, I'm afraid, and not too easy to resale... PS - It's sometimes said that ES 330 and Epiphone Casinos are identical constructionwise.
