24 paź 2013 · Reassemble the rear sight assembly, bottom the aperature out against the reciver and bring it up 10 clicks. With the screw loose on be elevation pinion pull out( away from the receiver ) and rotate until you are at the "1" mark.
20 paź 2015 · I do make reduced apertures for the M1, based on USGI sights, and I make NM hoods with different aperture sizes for the NM rear sights - the difference is the NM sights are oversized in the width, so you can stone them to get a nice tight fit in the sight base.

7 sie 2021 · The match rear sight is often complimented with a NM front sight with a 0.062 blade diameter. Just the hooded aperture can be swapped out with a standard rear site base. Been years since I have seen any on a Garand.
