Right now, PvPers do not have to branch out into raiding or Mythic+ in order to gear for PvP (unlike BfA or even WotLK classic). You can acquire almost all gear through PvP, including the tier sets.

Turn on War Mode. This lets you do PvP quests and see War Supply Crates (see below). These will help you gear faster, and your PvP gear scales up in PvP combat/PvP zones. Pick up the weekly quests in the PvP vendor area in Valdrakken.
