For trail maps, ask at the Welcome Center. Feel free to strike off on your ow, but take note of the turns you take.

Bethany Spring Retreat Center. Bethany Spring offers accommodations for those wishing to make a retreat near the Abbey of Gethsemani. If you’re interested in making a retreat at the Abbey of Gethsemani, you can stay at the abbey itself or stay a mile from the abbey at Bethany Spring.
Retreats are scheduled from Monday to Friday morning and from Friday to Monday morning. Those on retreat may use the abbey’s library of books, magazines, and tapes. The west side of the property, about 1200 acres opposite the church, is open to the public for walks and hikes.
