29 sie 2024 · Today, the Department of Geography offered several programs including Bachelor of Geography, Master of Arts (MA), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D). We have nearly 100 Bachelor’s Degree students each academic year. The programs that we reflect the multidisciplinary nature of Geography.
Students have the opportunity to study their subject matter in a number of different areas including: Biogeography, Cultural and Historical Geography, Economic Geography, Environment and Resource Management, Geographic Information Systems, Remote Sensing, Transportation Geography, Physical Geography, Social Geography, and Urban Geography.

The RS-GIS lab of the department is aided with modern spatial tools e.g. Remote Sensing and GIS to help facilitate students, teachers and researchers to draw solution to the spatial problem through geospatial analysis, database preparation and visualization.
Physical Geography Laboratory includes different landform models, rocks and minerals’ testing equipment, particle measuring devices, arsenic contamination testing tools, pollution measuring devices, pH meters, water testing devices etc.
