20 lip 2023 · Generic perfumes are often alcohol-based, diluted versions of original brands. They have a high content of alcohol and water, which makes the scent dissipate quickly, hence requiring frequent application. On the other hand, oil perfumery or perfume oils are highly concentrated and alcohol-free.
Take a look at ratings on the GP site, they seem pretty good: https://www.genericperfumes.com/creed-royal-oud-for-unisex-perfume-oil. If you're looking for the highest quality I've heard uni delivers some good quality oils.
I've tried both GenericPerfumes and Universal Perfumes and Cosmetics. At times it feels they both source their oils from same places. However, quality of packaging and rollerball between them differ significantly.
I recently got into fragrance clone or "inspiration" houses, and I've now ordered from Perfume Parlour (PP), Generic Perfumes (GP) and Oil Perfumery (OP). I found little information about these houses head to head, so this post will be my subjective criticism of the three based on my short but picky experience with these oils and sprays.
