29 lis 2022 · After General George S. Patton Jr. died in Allied-occupied Germany in 1945, his body was transported to Luxembourg and buried there. The history of General Patton as a military leader is storied to say the least.
19 paź 2008 · 61% of the bodies originally buried in the cemetery during the war were returned to the US. 5076 remain at this location which was part of the "Battle of the Bulge". There are 22 sets of biological brothers that lay side-by-side throughout the cemetery.
