27 wrz 2023 · On its face, the Gate Warden background is a perfect fit for a Horizon Walker ranger or Oath of the Watchers paladin. But because there's an Outer Plane for each alignment and several wild Inner Planes to boot, this background could reasonably fit any class, lineage, or alignment.
To make a Warden quickly, first place your highest score in Strength, followed by Constitution and Wisdom. Second, choose a wilderness related background. Class Features. As a Warden, you gain the following class features. Hit Points
24 paź 2023 · I've read the Gate Warden background and I don't think it's very clear on what exactly a gate warden is. I imagine its someone who guards one of the portals in or around Sigil, but I have no idea. Does anyone have a more definitive answer or explaination?
The new dnd OneD&D has all backgrounds provide feats. Some of 5e's latest expansions offered some background with feats to comply to this change. HOWEVER, if your table is allowing these backgrounds, then for the sake of balance, all characters should get a feat with their background.
