5 lip 2022 · Every engine manufacturer specifies a minimum octane rating requirement for fuel. The majority of motorcycle engines, including all current Harley-Davidson engines, require 91 octane or higher (Premium) fuel, thanks to high compression ratios. Run the cheapest if it doesnt like that step it up every bike is diffrent.

30 lis 2023 · I am so grateful for this forum, I was able to resolve my stuck float valve in the S&S Super carb on my 1949 Harley 61 ci. I'm still uncertain about how to store my bike for the winter. Up until recently I was storing it with clear - non ethanol gas, then decided to drain it a few weeks ago.

Harley-Davison and Shell Oil have a sponsorship with each other and therefore the two companies have an alliance that HD recommends you fill up with premium gasoline at any one of their 14,000 plus Shell stations across the USA.
