In the Monster Manual, creatures that are Gargantuan are said to fill a 20 by 20 ft space or larger. When I see a creature listed as gargantuan in the MM, how can I tell if its supposed to be 20 x 20, or 30 x 30, or 40 x 40 or so on.

1. The Monster Manual says you're out of luck. On Space/Reach says that. A template may change this [space/reach] entry if it changes the monster’s size. The typical space and reach for monsters of each size is given on Table 7–1: Creature Sizes (page 314).
Does anyone have a good source for maps that are meant to work with such enormous creatures? For example, the dragon I'd like to run is meant to be at least a couple hundred feet wide, based on how I imagine him and my prior descriptions to the players.
20 lip 2017 · A big creature can move through a square occupied by a creature three size categories smaller than it is. This means that the Medium wizard can't occupy the same space as a Huge summoned creature, and can't even move through its space (Huge is only two Sizes larger than Medium).
