JCPSP supports it somewhat at least, but there is no point to it. UMDs are just 720x480 (which the system can not output, so kind of strange choice there), with pretty strong compression and only one stereo audio track. Think DVD, but worse in every way. There are no exclusive movies or shows on UMD, no extras.
Is anyone downloading PSP games from the PS Store still? Give me honest opinions on GTA Chinatown Wars, never played before.
If you have the ISO or CUE version of this game then you can run it on PPSSPP. At this moment, it's the best emulator. I can recommend it for you.

Yes, that was Sony's solution. As far as I can tell, you can't find PSP games on the Playstation store, going through the web or PS4/5. People usually either play from UMDs or mod the console and run games digitally from the memory card.
