24 lut 2022 · I have played both ( I own Ark Nova and have played Earth 3-4 times on Tabletopia) They are not simplistic at all. You can safely have both in your collection if both are to your liking. Give GeekGold
30 wrz 2022 · if you are looking for something interesting take a look at (2-3 players) or (3players), they provide an endlessly interesting game driven by a large pool of cards that makes each game unique. They are somewhat more complex and challenging then TM and Ark Nova, and they feature player interaction. Tip.
From playing 50+ solo games of TM Mars and Ark Nova, I feel Ark Nova is better for solo play. I haven't played the solo variant with prelude, but the variant for the base TM Mars feels like I am missing out on combos and is pretty much just about events and select cards.
Ark Nova is really good at 2 player. If you want to try it out first, it's available on BGA (it's a "premium" game but you're still able to play it as a free player, just have to wait in queue longer).
19 lut 2022 · It’s not perfect, and I’m not sure it is the best game to be released in 2021. But if you enjoy your games heavy, featuring lots of meaty decisions, quick turns, a personal zoo, and a buffet of combos available in mid- and late-game turns, you can’t really go wrong with Ark Nova.
18 maj 2024 · If you love Ark Nova, you have already bought the Marine Worlds expansion. For those who play Ark Nova a couple times a year, I still think Marine Worlds is a worthy addition to the base game. My colleague Dave Wood also enjoyed this expansion for many of the reasons I expanded on in this review.
