30 wrz 2022 · I have all of them plus Ark Nova and Terraforming Mars. I can vouch for Boonlake and Maracaibo, haven't played Underwater Cities yet but from what I watched, it also looks like a nice engine building game with good variability. Another game that I can recommend is . I own and have played it too.
6 paź 2023 · This is a guide about how to be fairly good at Ark Nova. There are some truly amazing Ark Nova players out there - who can predict likely moves well ahead, consistently outperform their opponents, know exactly when to tactically break or snap, and so on.
I've played three games with four players and won all three with scores of 15, 25, and 30 and so far I haven't tried a Small Creatures build yet but I'd guess that players going for small creatures would benefit much more from the upgraded Build card than players going for Medium or Large creatures.
This is a beginner to intermediate strategy video about ARK NOVA. I also have an intermediate strategy video up on the same game, which digs into the card deck in a lot more detail. I'm a new creator (really just a hobbyist), and I'm just making a few videos about games I love.
My guess based on your post is that the game is dragging out longer than it should, which allows a scattershot build + play mostly random animal strategy to eventually snowball. If you play more efficiently you should be able to end the game before the engine fully ramps up.
7 lis 2022 · Like many fans of Terraforming Mars, I was eager to play Ark Nova. Building a zoo through cards and unique projects seemed fun, and it indeed was! Featuring a great selection mechanism, a board to build in and a massive deck, it has all the elements for a game I would like.
