I’ve recently begun taking my personal health and fitness more seriously, and I am pleased with the results. But, the loss of weight and addition of new muscle definition has left the “dog ears” of loose skin under my armpits where the scar ends on each side much more noticeable. I am considering liposuction. Has anyone else done this?

hey just a quick question to those who’ve had top surgery revisions for dog ear removal (i’m also having liposuction on both sides, and a lil bit of a scar extension on the front if that matters), did you have to only wear button up shirts/stuff like that again for a bit? i assume lifting my arms up properly is gonna be pretty impossible ...
considering dog ears are a ripple of sorts of excess skin, i think you could reduce them a bit with losing weight but the best approach would be a revision surgery.

2 gru 2022 · "Dog ears" is a term that refers to excess skin and fat that "pucker" out at the primary incision line as it goes around the side of the chest in Double Incision Top Surgery. "Dog ears" are probably the most common reason for a revision surgery after Double Incision.
