14 lis 2018 · Yes it can freeze. The freezing point of Ethylene Glycol, the mixture most commonly used in AIOs freezes at 8.78f. That is pure, its different when mixed with water. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethylene_glycol. The antifreeze will only drop the freezing point of the water by a few degrees.
If you add a 45 C delta to 41 C water you should only be seeing upper 80s tops for your CPU temp. Btw I saw the same 45 C delta with both an EK Quantum Velocity block and an Optimus Foundation AM4 block.

I’m going to my gf’s family’s house for a bit and my computer is with me in my car. If I leave it in my car for an hour or two in 7F weather, the water in the liquid cooler might freeze. Will that cause damage if I don’t turn it on while it’s still cold or potentially frozen?
