11 sty 2017 · Try checking file-integrity: 1) Open steam and go to 'library' 2) Right click FSX Steam Edition 3) Go to 'properties' and 'local file' 4) Click on 'check cache integrity' Steam will now check all files of the installed game to see if anything is missing or failed to install. It will also correct it with the right files. Hope this helps you out.
if you use the FSX Logbook, it has been known to go corrupt (I always keep mine free of entries, using a spreadsheet to record flight details). For this, you'll find the Logbook.bin in your Documents Library under FSX Files.
5 cze 2016 · When I try to start, a message box immediately pops up that says "Flight Simulator was unable to load some program files and will now exit. Please reinstall Flight Simulator to restore or repair the program installation."
19 mar 2020 · The reason "many versions" of the C++ libraries get installed is that individual games and applications MUST have the exact versions available to them that they were developed with. C++ libraries get updated all the time, and newer versions are NOT backward compatible with older versions.
17 lis 2019 · As many of us have experienced, when we have loaded Microsoft Flight Simulator onto a PC which got updated to Windows 10, the fsx.exe file disappears. I plowed my way through numerous blogs and supposed fixes but could never find the file to run my program, and I just about gave up!
21 wrz 2021 · However I just got home and loaded up the game again and it won't start and the message "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect." I don't know why its doing this now considering the game worked fine earlier.
17 lut 2008 · In the last couple of days FSX, on dedicated Hard drive (500Gig) has begun to fail to complete loading of flights and reporting "Failed to Read file".I ran the check disk for errors programme and it resolved the problem.
