Virtua offers quality continuing education programs to the pre-hospital community and the public safety sector, including police, fire, EMS, and communications personnel. EMT core and elective classes are held regularly to facilitate provider recertification. See the current list of courses.

EMS1 Academy is an approved education provider by the New Jersey Office of EMS (NJOEMS). EMS1 Academy has over 150 Basic Life Support (BLS) continuing education courses approved for use by licensed EMS professionals to satisfy their Elective requirement.
