I placed the scraggy wings on the table and hand-drew a doll-sized set of wings right on the back using my disappearing fabric pen (the fabric doesn’t disappear – just the marks made by the magic fabric pen). Then I cut them out, adjusting and trimming to get the shape I wanted.
6 dni temu · Pockets: Draw out heart shape for pockets on right side of outer fabric - or whatever shape you want. Apply appliques to pockets. Place outer and lining fabrics WST and cut out pocket shapes and stitch all the way around 1/2" from raw edges.
Cut out leaving a 1/8" (3 mm) seam allowance. Clip almost to the seam at sides of neck and under arms. Refer to pattern piece and apply fraystop around slit at center back of doll (this will be the back of the doll). When fraystop has dried, cut the slit and turn doll to right side out.
