A doctoral internship may be applied toward the clinical social work experience requirement. A licensed mental health professional must be on the premises when clinical services are provided by a registered intern in a private practice setting.
Before you can become licensed you must complete an eight-hour Florida Law and Rules Course and a three-hour HIV/AIDS Course. You can find approved providers of these online courses here . Submit an application for LMHC licensure to the State Board.
