Flood Maps. In August 2014, the State of North Carolina released the new preliminary flood maps for Brunswick County. These updated maps more accurately reflect the flood risks than the effective maps as new data and new modeling technology were used to develop them.

16 wrz 2024 · Local Programs. Historic rainfall occurred across the Cape Fear Region of southeastern North Carolina on September 16, 2024. Gauges and automated radar estimates showed that 12 to 20 inches of rain fell in only two days, creating severe flash flooding affecting Carolina Beach, Southport, Bolivia, and Boiling Spring Lakes.
25 mar 2024 · Since November 2023, Bolivia has been experiencing above-average rainfall, particularly in February 2024, resulting in floods and landslides. As at 18 March, floods and landslides had affected over 150,000 people and killed 52 (ECHO 20/02/2024; PL 18/03/2024; IFRC 15/03/2024).
Due to the continuous rains and the overflowing of major rivers, the main roads (including the Cochabamba-Santa Cruz section) have been interrupted. Meanwhile some communities in the Tarija and Santa Cruz departments remain isolated.
