Is there something I can do to have more voluminous hair aside from all the typical methods? I have tried shampoos and conditioners and powders and dry shampoos and all that good stuff. I also recommend watching some hair tutorials on YouTube for fellow fine/thin haired people. Some of my favorites are Erin Elizabeth, Loepsie, Tash, Kia Lindroos, and Lilith Moon (she sometimes wears extensions, so make sure you look for the videos where she is using her natural hair).
Source: I too have straight, flat hair. I noticed that my hair always has lots of volume after getting it cut at the salon. So, I started paying attention to how they did it, and that seems to be the procedure.
