14 lut 2024 · I recently received a message from the Fiverr username @sabanditos, claiming that they have already paid the amount. However, they want me to receive payment by deceiving me through a phishing attack.
If they start by saying they have their ideas on a weird link (in my case all were legit Dropbox links but I noticed the extension was .rar), do not download it. The people that approaches to you are Fiver sellers that were hacked and disabled by Fiverr.

Yes it's a scam. I stopped at "whatsapp", I didn't need to know more. By the way, next time, don't contact anyone outside of Fiverr. First because it's a red flag, and probably a scam. But most importantly, this is a breach of TOS (the rules), therefore you could get banned from Fiverr for doing so. Even if you are the 'victim' in this case.
