If my department is located more than 60 miles from a Firehouse Subs restaurant, should I still apply? Our Foundation mainly focuses its resources in areas served by Firehouse Subs restaurants. We recognize the need of rural and volunteer departments throughout the country, and will consider applications outside of the 60 mile guideline.
The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation provides funding to public safety organizations for lifesaving equipment and other resources. Eligible applicants are fire departments, law enforcement entities, emergency medical services (EMS), public safety organizations, non-profit organizations, and schools.
Known as the “heart” of Firehouse Subs, the Foundation provides lifesaving equipment and resources to the first responders in communities served by the restaurant chain and beyond through a quarterly grant-making process.
Dedicated to assisting first responders and public safety organizations in acquiring lifesaving equipment and resources with the goal to help protect and save lives in their communities.
