31 paź 2016 · I am having a problem where none of the favicons for the bookmarks in my Bookmarks Toolbar are displaying. When I go to the Bookmarks menu, and scroll down the to Bookmarks Toolbar folder, all the favicons display within the folder.
19 gru 2020 · put favicon in the root of the web server and called favicon.ico. Note that in recent versions of Firefox the favicon is only displayed on the tab icon and bookmark, not in the address bar icon.
You can try setting a bookmark while having Chrome Sync enabled and set to sync bookmarks. In my experience, it automatically touches every single bookmark, causing them all to float to the top of the history, and ostensibly, also refreshing their icons.
19 gru 2023 · Step 1: Launch Mozilla Firefox, navigate to the upper right side of the browser and click on the book stack icon next to the address bar. Step 2: Click on Bookmarks to expand and then select Show All Bookmarks at the bottom.
There are two common reasons for this: (1) The site redirects the bookmarked URL. In this case, Firefox doesn't retrieve the icon. You can usually spot these by the missing "blue star" in the address bar after you use the bookmark. To resolve, update the URL in the bookmark. (2) The site prevents caching of the icon.

21 cze 2017 · For some reason my favicon is not showing up on my chrome tab. From all the articles I have read I am writing the code correctly. It does work in Firefox. I also cleared my cache and tried an incognito window and am still not seeing it. When I go to: localhost:8080/favicon.ico I do see the favicon. Here is my code within the HTML header:
