What finally got it to work for me was to extract the JSON folder in the emulation folder, however, after this going into the JSON folder and copying/pasting these files directly into the emulation folder.
It closes shortly after, leaving behind a zero byte *.tmp file in the correct ROM folder location. If I copy/paste a direct link from inside the script into a browser it does indeed download the correct file, so the links aren't dead.
There is a solution at the bottom of the json page, the links in the jsons are working for me, if you tell me what link is not working i can test it.
