Defenders are incredibly quick at stepping up in unison, making balls over the top, and simply passing the ball to your forward much more difficult to time in Fifa 14. Fifa 14 was a beast of its time, of course compared to its successors it's awful. IMO(although I'm seeing comments disagreeing with this) Fifa 17 is peek gameplay, it was Perfect. Any game after that was either too easy to score or the AI scores whenever it feels like it.

I personally think it’s great on Switch because it is similar to FIFA 14. The reviews have been bad mostly because EA didn’t update the game at all in 3 years, they just give you roster updates and kit updates every season.
