Authorized sub applicants submit mitigation planning and project applications to GOHSEP. Applications MUST be submitted using the online system GOHSEPGrants.la.gov. Accessing GOHSEPGrants requires a login. To access as a NEW USER, contact your GOHSEP Hazard Mitigation (HM) State Applicant Liaison (SAL) to request access.
11 wrz 2024 · Your local government develops and submits Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) project applications to the state based on mitigation strategies identified in their hazard mitigation plan. Completed applications are sent to the respective state office that manages the process for HMGP grants.
Hazard mitigation projects are funded under the HMGP on a 75% federal, 25% non-federal cost share basis to be administered by FEMA and managed in South Carolina by SCEMD. The non-federal share can be met through cash or in-kind services such as donated materials or labor.
