Grumman F7F Tigercat ( 35 in. / 88.9 cm ) PDF Bitmap Wood Plans from Magazines. The Grumman F7F Tigercat was developed as a twin engine "heavy" fighter and served the US Navy well in various conflicts, both as a carrier-based and land-based aircraft.
For efficient power, the aircraft features a pair of 3748-600Kv brushless motors, 3-blade 12x7 propellers (Standard and Reverse rotation), and two 60A ESCs. The model’s top speed is 125kph/78mph, and comfortable flight duration ranges between 6 and 7 minutes on a pair of 4s 3000mAh lipo batteries.
The engines as described, with only the exhaust restrictors, can be slowed sufficiently to allow beautiful power on landings, taxi, and take-off patterns. As the wing is the central component of the model, it should be constructed first.
